
SUSTAINABLE NANOFUNCTIONALIZED MATERIALS
AMIRES is organising a public workshop on Sustainable Nanofunctionalized Materials, which will be held on 28th of June 2023 (09.30 – 16.00 CET) in Prague, Czech Republic.
The event targets SMEs, Start-ups and Mid-caps, innovative companies or traditional industries willing to introduce and integrate novel materials into their products. Structured into thematic sessions, covering the full value chain, the presentations will aim at providing a practical overview of the advanced materials and related nanotechnologies together with discussions on their impact in terms of the sustainability.
The workshop will include speakers of leading industries who will give a talk about the latest trends and share their visions about high-impact future innovative solutions. Applications of advanced materials as well as thriving innovations and ideas for the products of tomorrow will be shown. Moreover, successful examples of industry driven projects which will contribute to sustainability on an application level will be showcased.
Furthermore, the workshop will address topics that are relevant to the Open Innovation Networks that support suppliers of innovative environment-friendly materials to bring their solutions to the market and find customers in various fields of application in key sectors e.g., packaging, health, automotive, energy, construction, consumer goods. Funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe research and innovation programmes, the examples will demonstrate how research and innovation efforts can be aligned to achieve maximum impact. The talks will provide insights how the innovation ecosystems integrate the existing European infrastructures in order to accelerate the industrial uptake of advanced surface and nanotechnologies with the ultimate goal to operate in open access mode and serve customers from along the value chain.
