Extended lifetime of road Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) (2ZERO Partnership)

The call aims to enhance the extended lifetime of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) through innovative approaches to system integration, maintenance, and design. It focuses on increasing the residual value of vehicles by addressing the ageing and degradation of critical components such as electric drive systems, thermal management, and power electronics. The overarching goal is to minimise the environmental impact while maximising resource efficiency and productivity. Proposals are encouraged to leverage holistic analyses, advanced control strategies, and prospective maintenance strategies that align with Circular Economy principles. Additionally, the project encourages the use of FAIR data principles and Open Science practices to ensure broad accessibility and sustainability.
