Leveraging Artificial Intelligence for Pandemic Preparedness and Response

This call aims to enhance pandemic preparedness and response by leveraging the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Projects should focus on utilizing diverse datasets and AI-based tools to improve medical, societal, and logistical countermeasures against infectious diseases. Key objectives include developing new or improved AI tools for disease prevention, integrating diverse data sources across disciplines, and addressing social and operational barriers to AI implementation. Funded activities must ensure trustworthiness, ethical compliance, and engagement with stakeholders, including social sciences and humanities experts. Successful projects will collaborate on dissemination activities and focus on real-world applicability of AI solutions for pandemic challenges.
