New advanced tools and processes for Operational Cybersecurity

Addressing the increasingly complex and cross-border nature of cyber threats, this call seeks to develop advanced cybersecurity frameworks and services aligned with EU initiatives such as NIS2 and the Cyber Solidarity Act. Projects must reinforce cybersecurity operational capabilities, improve situational awareness, enhance cross-border cyber incident management, and ensure compliance with upcoming EU regulations. Real-world pilot projects with the participation of National Cybersecurity Authorities are mandatory.

Expected Outcome

Establishment of new operational cybersecurity capabilities in Member States, improved incident handling and cooperation across borders, and enhanced EU-wide cybersecurity crisis management. Boosted European strategic autonomy in cybersecurity technology.

Scope

Proposals must deliver frameworks, services, and tools that boost European cybersecurity resilience, with emphasis on risk assessment, incident response, digital twin creation for critical infrastructures, cyber exercises, and cross-sectoral cyber crisis management. Strong participation of innovative European cybersecurity SMEs and start-ups is a key requirement.
