Open Topic on Modern Information and Forensic Evidence Analysis and on Frontline Policing

This funding call focuses on addressing modern challenges in forensic evidence analysis and frontline policing. It aims to develop innovative tools, methodologies, and training curricula for European Police Authorities and forensic institutes. The call encourages projects that tackle advanced technology challenges, utilize modern forensic analysis methods with emerging technologies, and modernize frontline policing. Proposals should also ensure demonstration, testing, or validation of developed solutions, and outline plans for future adoption at national and EU levels. Additionally, proposals must avoid duplication with previous Horizon Europe projects and foster coordination among successful applications. Active collaboration with the Europol Innovation Lab and EU Drugs Agency is expected when relevant.
