GreenSME Open Calls
GreenSME is a project financed from the EU Horizon Europe Call "'Innovate to transform' support for SME's sustainability transition".
GreenSME aims to strengthen manufacturing small and medium enterprises (SME)’s capacity to adopt advanced technologies and social innovation for sustainability through a sustainability assessment tool, an action plan, and financial support to foster projects between manufacturing SMEs and Sustainability and Technology Providers.
Over the next three years, we will support 150 companies and fund 70 projects with open calls to help SMEs on their green journey.
The GreenSME open call
greenSME will launch two open calls during 2023 and 2024 to provide financial support to manufacturing SMEs in adopting advanced technologies and social innovations supplied by the providers.
Only manufacturing SMEs that have completed the free Self-Assessment Tool, made an Action Plan with our experts and are paired with a greenSME Accredited Provider are eligible to apply to the project’s open calls.
The first Call will run till August 2023. Selected companies will run their pilot projects for six months from December 2023 till May 2024.
GreenSME is looking for manufacturing companies meeting these criteria:
- Conduct industrial activities and services related to the industry, information and logistics.
- Turnover of up to €50M and/or balance sheet total of up to €43M.
- Ten to 250 employees.
- Located in the EU.
- Registered as NACE Section C.
- Paired with a greenSME Accredited Provider.
