The pavement rehabilitation and maintenance decision support tool provides asphalt paving KPIs like density, macrotexture, and temperature during the construction process. For some parameters, like macrotexture, current tools can only provide such information after the process when you cannot change anything anymore. This solution can provide decision-making support to ensure quality of the project. The tool also leads to smart rehabilitation of surface pavement layers, which leads to improved intervention times and execution quality (pavement lifetime). Importantly, the tool can facilitate a complete and seamless process to ensure the compliance with (asphalt quality) standards. The tool furthermore enables the use of thinner layers of asphalt (Asphalt for Ultra-Thin Layers (AUTLs)): Treatment of 2 cm to improve performance of road surface pavements.
