On Wind Turbine designs, there is an evaluation, in terms of identifying the components that have most impact in the Overall Equipment Effectiveness. This is regarding the built in of the entire processes from the Service Engineering area, up to the maintenance processes. The optimization of the entire infrastructure of costs departs from the identification of this type of components, from a Top-Down/Bottom-Up perspective, that is, the complete analysis of the Wind Turbine system. The maintenance plan and any part of the design that could be addressed by a team of engineers may be subject of improvement and to follow the continuous improvements of a Design for Reliability approach. The main benefit of this project result is that it allows to provide mitigations of identified components on future turbines, improving design, reliability and costs for us and our customers.
