Fogify: A Fog Computing Emulator Framework

Result description

Fogify is an awarded emulation framework that enables repeatable, measurable and controllable modelling, deployment and experimentation of data-intensive IoT services under realistic environment assumptions, mobility patterns, faults and uncertainties. The evaluation of emulation accuracy shows a 3-8% deviation between emulated and real Infrastructures. Evaluation results exploiting real 5G data show that the developed emulation framework presents, at most, an 11.7% deviation when comparing actual and emulated network Quality of Service (QoS).
