Review Microprinting 2025

We were delighted to participate in the recent Microprinting Workshop organized by Organic Electronics Saxony (OE-S) in Bad Schandau. With around 65 participants, the event provided an excellent platform to explore the latest developments and future directions in micro- and bioprinting technologies.

Highlights of the workshop included:

  • Cutting-edge printing technologies and systems with applications ranging from electronics to biotechnology.
  • A diverse program featuring 33 presentations and nine posters, showcasing the state of the art in systems, applications, and related technologies.
  • A presentation by our CEO, Dr. John Fahlteich, who outlined the successful journey from and idea to the market and identified relevant R&D funding oppurtunities for the microprinting community – In the 2026/2027 Work Programme draft, several EU Horizon Europe funding calls have been identified with relevance to industrial printing – all available on the KETMarket Platform for Premium users – search now on ketmarket.eu

Beyond the technical program, the workshop offered outstanding oppurtunities for networking and a memorable, impressive social program in a unique setting along the Elbe river.

A special thank you goes to the team at OE-S for organizing such a successful event. We look forward to continuing the exchange and collaboration with the microprinting community – and to the next workshop edition.
