The BIOTRAILS Visualisation Tool is an interactive, web-based platform that translates complex scientific data on biodiversity, climate, and trade into accessible visual insights. It aims to support decision-makers, researchers, and stakeholders in exploring alternative intervention scenarios and understanding their potential impacts on biodiversity and sustainability across global value chains.
Through intuitive maps, charts, and scenario visualisations, the tool enables users to compare policy, market, and community-driven pathways towards transformative change. Designed collaboratively with Case Study Leaders (CSLs) and Learning and Action Alliances (LAAs) in Greece, Ghana, Brazil, and Peru, the tool bridges science and policy by fostering dialogue and shared learning.
Accessible online and continuously updated, the BIOTRAILS Visualisation Tool serves as both a capacity-building and decision-support resource, helping to operationalise biodiversity-positive strategies for sustainable development.
