Climate change simulations provide valuable insights for business decision-making and risk assessment. They offer critical information for improving the planning of beach and tourism management, improve planning for coastal infrastructure, such as roads and housing, to reduce risks associated with extreme events under future climate conditions. Further, projections of wind and wave climate can help identify suitable areas for the deployment of offshore wind farms and wave energy converters.
To facilitate understanding and enhance accessibility, the results have been integrated into the SOS which allows users to explore the simulated scenarios interactively, providing clear, intuitive, and visually engaging representations of the projected flooding effects, thereby supporting informed decision-making processes.
