Result description
SEA2LAND project created a decision support system (DSS) that enables agronomists to select an appropriate, regionally relevant fishery-based bio-fertiliser product. The decision support is informed by agronomic trial data and the results from the environmental impact assessment. The information is complemented by recommended application amounts and guidelines.
The Decision Support System can be accessed at https://sea2land.sid-isq.com/; all information included in this section is reflected in the platform. This decision support system has been designed and implemented to help users select a suitable fertiliser for a specific need and area. The functional requirements are:
• Creation of profiles for fertiliser producers and agronomists;
• Allow fertiliser producers to add fertiliser entries;
• Allow listing of all fertiliser producers;
• Allow agronomists to search for the best-suited fertiliser according to their query;

The platform has just been launched on the market, but currently has very few fertilisers listed. We intend to promote it and reach fertiliser producers and agronomists who would like to add more fertilisers, create a listing of all fertiliser producers, and allow agronomists to search for the best-suited fertiliser according to their query.

The decision support system (DSS) is ready to be used, and bio-fertilizer producers can make their products available so that farmers can choose based on various parameters, such as distance and chemical composition.
