The GenB Toolkit for Teachers empowers teachers by fostering active engagement and supporting continuous professional development. It is composed of two types of content: materials to educate and train teachers themselves and materials to support teachers in teaching bioeconomy to students in the classroom (according to different target age groups: 4-8, 9-13 and 14-19 y.o). The toolkit is available in both printable and digital formats, with low-barrier online access, ensuring inclusivity for diverse educational environments. The toolkit encompasses different learning and teaching materials, ensuring adaptability and inclusivity for different learning styles and pedagogical approaches.
The GenB Educational Toolkit for Teachers was developed through a multi-stakeholder co-creation process, ensuring engaging, pedagogically robust resources. Aligned with the Code of Practice on Citizen Engagement, it involved teachers, students, and experts across Europe to create materials tailored to Pre/Early School, Elementary, and High School needs and adopts diverse pedagogical approaches to suit various teaching styles and contexts.
