Result description
The Occupant Monitoring System helps the passengers and driver of a vehicle to measure and estimate the appropriate driving state and level of attention in the road, using the integration of AI algorithms in data collected at the vehicle to detect gaze and distractions considering the health state of the driver, while offering a feeling of better safety in driving and trust based on efficient and timely communication car-driver through adaptive HMI
The OMS is a system to measure and estimate the occupant state including physiological observations (e.g., fatigue, gaze and blink patterns), intentions and behaviour descriptors. It consists of a set of 12 algorithms to monitor and evaluate the driver and passengers situational awareness. It increases comfort and safety.
