Result description
We have developed special ultra-thin coatings, called self-assembled monolayers, that can be added to sensor surfaces to improve their ability to detect air pollutants, especially highly reactive chemicals like ozone and radicals. These coatings are made from tailored organic molecules that react only with the target pollutants, helping the sensors be more accurate, selective, and long-lasting. This technology is beneficial for environmental monitoring in cities, homes, or workplaces, where knowing exactly what is in the air can protect health and inform better decisions. We are now looking to partner with sensor manufacturers and innovators in air quality technologies to bring these innovative coatings into real-world applications.
Addressing target audiences and expressing needs

- Academia/ Universities
R&D, Technology and Innovation aspects
Our intelligent sensor coatings are at a validated lab stage, with proven stability, selectivity, and radical reactivity. We seek funding to scale production, integrate with commercial sensors, and field-test in urban or industrial settings. We welcome interest from private investors, funding bodies, and partners in environmental sensing or materials tech.
