Convert2Green Reaches Final Review Milestone

Convert2Green has reached its final review milestone, marking an important step for low-carbon and circular material innovation in Europe.

Over two days at the National Technical University of Athens and Lavrion Technological Cultural Park, the project partners reviewed a clear mission: helping European SMEs bring sustainable material innovations closer to market.

The project delivered strong, industry-relevant results, including:

  • Sustainable materials validated at TRL6–7
  • A potential global warming potential reduction of more than 20%
  • 18 SME pilot cases across textiles, medical packaging, plastics, flexible electronics and other sectors
  • 116 R&D, innovation and business services made accessible
  • 5 industrial demonstrators validated across key European value chains

But the work does not stop here.

Convert2Green will continue as an innovation network under the lead of KETMarket GmbH, supporting SMEs, startups, researchers and companies in moving circular materials from development to deployment.

The mission remains clear: enable European SMEs to bring low-carbon circular material innovations into European value chains faster, cheaper and with stronger market impact.
