16 new EU semiconductor funding calls now available on KETMarket
KETMarket has added 16 new EU semiconductor funding calls from the Chips Joint Undertaking to its platform.
The calls offer more than €300 million in EU funding for projects across Europe’s semiconductor ecosystem. They are divided into two main programme areas:
- 10 calls under the Electronic Components and Systems Research and Innovation programme, known as ECS R&I
- 6 calls under the Chips for Europe Initiative
The new funding opportunities cover a wide range of semiconductor-related topics, including:
- Early-stage research and higher TRL innovation
- Power electronics, photonics and health technologies
- 6G communications
- AI chip demonstrators and European compute infrastructure
- Semiconductor supply-chain resilience
- Autonomous-driving systems
- International collaboration with Japan, India, Singapore and Taiwan
- Semiconductor skills, training and chip-design talent
Submission deadlines run from 16 to 30 September 2026, depending on the specific call.
All 16 calls are now available on the KETMarket platform, making it easier for companies, research organisations and innovation teams to explore the new funding landscape and identify opportunities relevant to their technology, organisation or project.
Please note: ECS GLOBAL IA and ECS GLOBAL RIA are second-phase calls. They are only open to consortia invited to proceed from the Project Outline stage to the Full Project Proposal stage.
