Dr. John Fahlteich

Executive Officer (CEO)

John graduated from the University of Leipzig with a diploma in Physics in 2005. In 2010, he earned a PhD with a thesis about vacuum deposited permeation barrier layers. John has 18 years of experience in thin film and nano technology. Until Sept. 2022, John was Research Group Leader at the Fraunhofer Institute for Organic Electronics, Electron Beam and Plasma Technology FEP, Dresden, managing 18 people (incl. student) and an annual budget of 2.5 M€. During that time, John was part of multiple EU funded pilot lines and OITB projects. In 2022, he became CEO of KETMarket with the aim to create a Digital Open Innovation Marketplace and Single Entry Point to the European Innovation Ecosystems.

 

André Wahl

Technical Sales Director

André studied Physical Technology at the University of Applied Science in Zwickau and started his carrier as development engineer at the Southwall Europe GmbH thin film coating factory in Grossroehrsdorf, Germany. He gained a lot of innovation experience as Group Leader Technology working in cross-site projects for Eastman Chemicals. Between 2015 and 2022, André was leading the factory with a team of up to 125 people. His expertise covers vacuum and atmospheric pressure thin film processes. He has access to a strong international network of users and suppliers in the field of thin film technology. André holds a Master of Business Administration and Six-Sigma Black Belt Qualification.

 

Nancy Kühne

Certified Management Assistant

After working several years in catering business leading an event team, Nancy completed a training as office administrator in 2015 and was employed at Fraunhofer FEP as Team and Management Assistant until March 2023. Her responsibilities included (among other activities) the preparation of workshops and events as well as coordination of travel activities and trade fair attendance. In 2020, Nancy completed a distance learning study as certified management assistant. Her knowledge comprises accounting, human resources, event organization, project management and Import/Export regulations.

 

Patric Gerö

Quality and Project Manager

Patric earned a master’s degree on Integrated Management Systems from Hochschule Zittau/Görlitz in 2021. He gained first professional experience as Quality Manager at Fraunhofer FEP in Dresden, Germany. In that position, he established QM processes and consulted researchers in implementing ISO9001 (Quality Management) and ISO27001 (Information Security) principles to the research projects. Patric has comprehensive experience in Environmental Management (ISO 14001), Energy Management (ISO 50001), Innovation Management (ISO 56002) and above-mentioned ISO 9001 and 27001 based Management Systems.

 

Philip Poplutz

Student Assistant for Web Programming

Philip completed his high school diploma in 2020, specializing in informatics. Since then, he has been studying Business Informatics at University of Applied Science Dresden. In June 2023 he started working as a student assistant for KETMarket. He is actively involved in programming new features for the KETMarket website, developing middleware for databases to facilitate the exchange of data between cloud-based collaboration tools as well as creating tools for collecting, processing, and analyzing data, particularly focusing on research reports.

 

Anna Ivanova

Social Media Marketing Assistant

 Anna Ivanova joined KETMarket in September 2022. Originally from Ukraine, Anna graduated from The Hague University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands with a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration. Anna started her career in communications at the Institute for Historical Justice and Reconciliation, where she worked for over two years as a Social Media Coordinator and Research Associate, supervising researchers and managing the online presence of the Contested Histories project. She gained deep insight into the EU Research & Innovation landscape during her time at AMIRES, where she worked as a Junior Marketing Specialist prior to joining KETMarket. Anna’s professional interests include learning & development and policymaking.
