IraSME Call: Czech Republic

Description

The 36th IraSME Call is a transnational funding initiative coordinated by the IraSME network to promote international R&D collaborations involving SMEs and Research & Technology Organisations (RTOs). Czech partners are funded via the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MPO). 

Scope

  • R&D categories: industrial research, experimental development
  • Supports new or significantly enhanced products, processes, or technical services beyond the current international state of the art.
  • Development should reach prototype stage, with each partner facing significant technical risk

Eligible Applicants

  • SMEs and RTOs from Czech Republic and other participating countries (Austria, Brazil, Czech Republic, Flanders (Belgium), Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Türkiye, Wallonia (Belgium))
  • Must include at least one Czech SME, plus one SME from another country, and may optionally include RTOs.
  • Partnerships involving non-participating countries are allowed, but those partners must secure their own funding
  • All participating SMEs must share in project outcomes; RTOs are optional and may be funded or subcontracted
  • Czech part of the project work must be carried out outside the capital Prague

Funding Amount

  • Max. 50 million CZK per consortium on the Czech side

Expected Outcome

  • Creation of market-ready or near-market R&D results with clear commercial viability and high international innovation standards.
  • Each project must demonstrate measurable benefits from cross-border collaboration and include work packages with defined roles and technical challenges.
