Proposals should explore prebiotics, postbiotics, vitamins, peptides, oligosaccharides, fats, emulsifiers, and other functional ingredients that contribute to better organoleptic, health, and environmental outcomes. The scope includes breakthrough production processes, sustainability in sourcing, regulatory alignment, and stakeholder engagement to ensure market acceptance and impact.
Proposals are expected to contribute to the Circular Economy, Zero Pollution Action Plan, and Farm to Fork Strategy, emphasizing reduced environmental impacts, enhanced nutritional properties, and affordable innovations. Collaboration with various stakeholders, including farmers, industry, and regulatory bodies, is encouraged, as well as alignment with existing EU-funded projects.
