Joint call for proposals with South Korea in the quantum domain
In the context of the bilateral programmes initiated by the Swiss government, the SNSF and the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) are announcing a call for research projects in the quantum domain, including quantum ethics.
Joint Research Projects (JRPs) allow researchers in Switzerland to collaborate with partners in South Korea.
The following topics are included in the call:
- Quantum computing/simulation
- Quantum communications and networks
- Quantum sensing/measurement
- Fundamentals of Quantum information science and technology
- Quantum ethics
Around ten projects with a duration of four years can be financed. The maximum budget for the Swiss side is 800,000 Swiss francs per project. Interested researchers are invited to contact colleagues in South Korea as soon as possible to prepare a joint application. Please submit your application via the new SNSF Portal.
