This call aims to establish a joint strategy for enhancing climate knowledge, data, and product uptake across Africa. Projects funded under this call are expected to set the foundation for future collaborative activities between the African Union (AU) and the European Union (EU) on climate change research, supporting the implementation of the Climate Change and Sustainable Energy partnership.
Actions should develop a joint roadmap, mobilize commitments from funding entities, map relevant EU-funded projects, and design capacity-building strategies. The aim is to enhance climate literacy, develop climate services and early-warning systems, and support capacity building while considering Africa's socio-economic circumstances and user needs.
