This call aims to improve the integration of competent and impartial advisors within Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems (AKIS), focusing on enhancing their knowledge, skills, and capacity to provide high-quality advice to farmers. The project will connect advisors across EU Member States, fostering knowledge sharing and promoting sustainability transitions in agriculture. Successful proposals will contribute to all objectives of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and other climate and environmental policies. The project will employ a multi-actor approach to create a collaborative environment that integrates public and private advisors into national, regional, and European networks, focusing on continuous training, interactive innovation models, and tools to assess sustainability performance of farms. Proposals should ensure that advisors are well-equipped to address economic, social, and environmental challenges faced by farmers, contributing to more sustainable agricultural practices. Proposals will include resources to develop and manage platforms, training programs, and tools for advisors, while ensuring complementarity with related projects and networks within the EU.
