Dr. John Fahlteich
Dr. John Fahlteich is the Chief Executive Officer of KETMarket and brings over 18 years of experience in thin-film and nanotechnology. He studied Physics at Leipzig University, graduating with a Diplom in 2005. In 2010, he earned his PhD with a dissertation on vacuum-deposited permeation barrier coatings.
Until September 2022, Dr. Fahlteich served as Head of Research Group at the Fraunhofer Institute for Organic Electronics, Electron Beam and Plasma Technology (FEP) in Dresden. In this role, he led a team of 18 employees (including students) and managed an annual budget of approximately €2.5 million. He was actively involved in several EU-funded pilot lines and Open Innovation Test Bed (OITB) projects.
Since 2022, he has been serving as CEO of KETMarket, where his mission is to establish a digital marketplace for open innovation and create a central access point to European innovation ecosystems.
