This call aims to unlock the potential of certified electronic Freight Transport Information (eFTI) platforms established under Regulation 2020/1056. Projects should develop technical solutions and tools to extend the functionalities of eFTI platforms for new use cases, ensuring harmonized electronic business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-authority (B2A) information sharing in multimodal logistics chains. Objectives include developing universal, open, and affordable solutions for electronic B2B information sharing, addressing data sovereignty, privacy, and cybersecurity, and testing applications in at least two demonstration pilots. Proposals should also identify best practices to boost and accelerate the adoption of eFTI platforms and data-sharing innovations by companies, especially SMEs.
