This call aims to develop a fully functional and operational common research data repository for the security and disaster risk research community. Building on the outcomes of the LAGO project, the repository will address the need for a consolidated database to gather, manage, and store training and testing data relevant to security domains such as fighting crime and terrorism, infrastructure resilience, border management, and disaster resilience. Key aspects include ensuring data is FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable), establishing interoperability with platforms like EOSC, and addressing legal, ethical, and technical challenges. The project will involve extensive testing, evaluation, and collaboration with ongoing initiatives to ensure the repository's effectiveness. Sustainability plans will also be developed to maintain and extend the repository's functionality after the project's end, adhering to the principles of open science while safeguarding sensitive data.
Opening: 12-06-2025
