EuroHPC JU Call for Proposals for AI for Science and Collaborative EU Projects

The EuroHPC JU AI for Science and Collaborative EU Projects Access aims to support AI applications for science, with a focus on ethical Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and cutting-edge foundation models and Generative AI. This includes Large Language Models. This access mode covers scientific users (whether funded or not by national or European programmes), public sector users, and industrial users participating in R&I projects funded by EU programmes like Horizon Europe and the Digital Europe Programme. All other industrial users should target the AI for Industrial Innovation Access modes.

Expected Outcome

      • Promote innovation in AI for science

      • Facilitate the adoption of new AI technologies in research workflows

      • Enhance the development and use of ethical AI

      • Support groundbreaking AI models (such as Large Language Models and Foundation Models) for scientific applications

      • Provide resources for AI research that could directly benefit European scientific efforts

      • Enable users to test, validate, and implement AI technologies at scale

      • Contribute to new scientific insights and innovations through AI

      • Support high-impact scientific projects using AI in various domains

      • Foster collaboration between public sector, scientific researchers, and the industry

      • Establish robust AI research networks across Europe
