This call seeks to develop innovative and open-source tools for managing shared energy community assets and optimizing energy community management. Projects should focus on integrating home and building assets based on common Internet of Things (IoT) communication standards, facilitating local energy trading and distributed grid-oriented services, and enhancing the integration of energy communities in European energy grids.
The developed solutions should be tested within at least five energy communities from at least three European countries. The project should benefit from the direct participation of energy communities, smart appliances manufacturers, home energy devices manufacturers, home and building energy management system developers, Distribution System Operators (DSOs), and aggregators. Selected projects are expected to contribute to the BRIDGE initiative and actively participate in its activities.
Opening Date: 16 September 2025
Deadline: 17 February 2026
