The "Monitoring, Coordination and Evaluation of the Societal Readiness Pilot" aims to provide comprehensive oversight and support for integrating Societal Readiness in seven pilot projects within the Cluster 5 work programme 2025. Societal Readiness indicates that R&I results have considered diverse societal needs and concerns, enhancing their potential for societal uptake. This action will closely monitor how Societal Readiness is addressed in pilot projects, identify challenges, and foster exchanges to enhance its potential.
Key activities include monitoring the Societal Readiness-related deliverables of each selected pilot project, fostering exchanges among projects through annual workshops, providing support to consortia by offering general guidance, and delivering recommendations with key indicators for successful implementation. The project will contribute to more impactful R&I driven by the needs, values, and expectations of diverse social groups.
A duration of 4.5 years is recommended for this action, with a limited number of partners possessing relevant experience in Societal Readiness. The involvement of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) experts is essential to meaningfully support the monitoring, coordination, and evaluation of the Societal Readiness pilot.
