This call focuses on increasing the resilience of coastal communities in the Atlantic region by addressing the challenges posed by climate change and environmental threats. The proposals aim to develop innovative solutions and tools for coastal resilience, including the creation of a comprehensive toolbox based on scientific and traditional knowledge. These solutions will support the adaptation of communities, authorities, and citizens in vulnerable coastal areas. The call encourages collaboration with international partners, especially those from the All-Atlantic Ocean Research and Innovation Alliance (AAORIA), and emphasizes the importance of a multi-actor approach. The selected projects will focus on building capacity, promoting innovation, and providing tangible benefits to communities through sustainable and inclusive solutions. A particular focus is placed on testing these solutions in living labs, fostering local engagement, and ensuring long-term sustainability.
