Space Critical EEE Components and Related Technologies for EU non-dependence

This Horizon Europe call focuses on reducing the EU's dependency on non-EU critical space EEE (Electronic, Electrical, and Electromechanical) components and related technologies. The primary goal is to establish a sustainable and strategic EU-based supply chain that ensures access to high-performance, export-control-free technologies for space missions. This call aims to enhance EU strategic autonomy, competitiveness, and innovation within the space sector. Key areas include the development of resilient supply chains, the promotion of technological spin-ins from non-space sectors, and the alignment with EU institutional objectives and space agency needs. Proposals must address one specific technology area, target a final TRL of 5 or higher, and ensure alignment with EU strategic and security interests. Projects are encouraged to enhance collaboration between European industries and align with national and European initiatives.
