Result description
The AGEMERA online CRM game is designed as an interactive learning experience for students, decision-makers, and the general public as a whole. It uses an engaging format, similar to the “Who wants to be a millionaire?” one, to familiarise the user with topics related to critical raw materials, their sourcing and processing, environmental impact, and role in the twin transition. The concept is centred around the entire lifecycle of a smartphone, with 20 progressively challenging questions.
The learning goals users can obtain: (1) understand the role of CRMs in modern technologies and their applications; (2) explore the smartphones’ life cycle, (3) raise awareness of the environmental, social, and economic impacts of CRM use; (4) encourage critical thinking about resource management, and stimulate decision-making.
Teachers who want to use this resource with their students benefit from additional supporting materials (guide, presentation), also hosted on the website.
The game is currently available in six languages: English, German, Finnish, Estonian, Portuguese, Romanian.
