Result description
Antifouling and anti-bite materials has a wide range of application either in the core of the project (floating offshore wind) or in other marine products (oil & gas, vessels, infrastructures, etc.). This result was applicated to mooring lines, electrical cable and the floating foundation.
The achievements are:
- HARSHLAB 0.5: Harshlab 0.5 is an infrastructure managed by PLOCANto perform test in real sea conditions based on the performance of different probes installed in it.
- Antifouling and anti-bite thermoset polymers.
- Antifouling and anti-bite thermoplastic polymers.
- Antifouling and anti-bite formulations by the combination of additives with different functionalities and properties, including hydrophobic materials, chemical inhibitors, bittering agents and pungent agents
