The MARC SE-Africa antimalarial resistance dashboard is an innovative tool for showcasing data needed to combat malaria and the emergence of antimalarial resistance in the region.

The dashboard allows you to navigate through layers of data with user-defined parameters, unveiling patterns and trends in antimalarial resistance at different levels. This not only enhances understanding but also facilitates informed decision-making where it’s needed most.

What you can find by exploring the dashboard:

  1. Therapeutic efficacy studies (TES) assist you in tracking the effectiveness of current antimalarial drugs showing cure rates after correcting for new infections.
  2. Molecular markers of resistance ensure you have access to up-to-date evidence on the prevalence of WHO-validated and candidate molecular markers of artemisinin (partial) resistance.
  3. National malaria treatment policies show you the latest treatment policy status across countries.
  4. Malaria incidence data helps you monitor statistics on malaria cases and deaths, facilitating swift public health responses.

The South African Medical Research Council has provided technical support and hosting.
