Result description
Voltaage has developed an AI-driven, data analytics platform that optimises the planning, operation, and management of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. By integrating real-time data from fleets, charging stations, and geographic information systems, the solution predicts energy demand, identifies optimal charger locations, and improves network utilisation. It supports fleet managers, charge-point operators, and public authorities in making investment decisions based on data rather than assumptions, significantly reducing costs and accelerating EV adoption.
Voltaage onboarded today more than 5.000 charging points on its platform and guided the installation of 186 charging stations in France and Italy. Today the company has the best AI driven system to plan and develop a public EV charging infrastructure with a focus on monetization and territory coverage. Modular and scalable, the system allows cities and CPO to delegate the location management and revenues development of their charging infrastructure. The company is ready for cross-border replication, contributing to Europe’s climate-neutral transport and smart city goals.
Addressing target audiences and expressing needs
- Other blended financing
- Investor introductions
We are seeking collaborative partnerships to scale our EV-charging optimisation platform across Europe and beyond. We invite private investors to fund our product development and go-to-market growth, and we welcome public or private funding institutions to support our infrastructure roll-out and technology adoption. At the same time, we are looking to partner with charge-point operators, fleet managers, and mobility infrastructure companies to accelerate commercial deployment, refine our analytics, and maximise our impact in the transition to electric mobility.

R&D, Technology and Innovation aspects
Voltaage is transitioning from pilot demonstrations to commercial scaling. We are integrating additional analytics modules and expanding partnerships with fleet operators and charge-point networks. Support from private investors and funding institutions will accelerate European market deployment, enhance AI capabilities, and strengthen data-driven electrification planning.
The solution is designed for rapid scalability across Italy and Europe. Once local data is onboarded—fleet movements, charger utilisation, traffic data, population patterns, grid proximity and points of interest—the digital twin can be recalibrated in a few days. This allows Voltaage to reproduce the same analysis in new territories without rebuilding the model.
Scalability improves as more data is added: each new region strengthens the scoring logic, enhances prediction accuracy and supports benchmarking between similar territories. The platform also adapts to different regulatory contexts and commercial strategies by adjusting parameters such as power levels, deployment costs and accessibility criteria.
The methodology does not depend on local infrastructure, expansion requires only data integration and stakeholder engagement. This makes the solution transferable to any city where CPOs, municipalities and fleets need evidence-based guidance to plan public and private charging networks
The solution is replicable because it follows a standardised analytical workflow that can be applied to any territory. The digital twin is built from widely available datasets—traffic patterns, population density, land use, commercial activity and charger performance—which exist in most European regions. This allows the same methodology to be reproduced without redesigning the platform.
Replicability is reinforced by the role of CPOs and municipalities, whose operational processes are similar across countries: they must decide where to install chargers, how to size them and how to justify investments. Voltaage’s scoring criteria—accessibility, demand potential, proximity to services, and integration with local plans—are universal and can be adapted through simple parameter changes.
The solution is environmentally sustainable because it directs charging infrastructure to locations where it will be most used, avoiding unnecessary installations and reducing the environmental impact of low-utilisation assets.
Voltaage also helps municipalities plan charging networks that align with local mobility patterns, reducing detours and unnecessary kilometres driven in search of charging. This leads to lower energy waste, more efficient use of grid resources and a smoother transition toward clean mobility.
As more regions adopt the platform, the digital twin becomes increasingly accurate, reinforcing long-term environmental benefits and ensuring that future charging investments continue to support decarbonisation goals.
