Result description
At Parastruct, we have developed a recycling technology that enables us to recycle 95-99% of most building materials. That emits significantly less CO2 than the use of primary raw materials. We prefer to use recycled materials in combination with 3D printing, as this allows us to process many more recycled materials, and we are no longer reduced to concrete alone, as is the case in the conventional construction industry. In order to scale our developments from TRL6 to TRL8 and bring them to market, we are looking for investors and early adopters. We licence our technology to our B2B customers worldwide.
Our core technology consists of a recyclable material platform with which different products can be manufactured depending on the filler (waste material) and binder content. The first recyclable products are solutions for mould making, imprinted conventional components, acoustic panels, 3D interior wall
cladding, free-form facades, etc.Another aspect is our high-speed 3D printing system, which we have specially designed for waste materials. This 3D printing process currently delivers the best resolution and product quality in the construction industry. In addition, the components from our material platform are entirely recyclable at the end of their lifetime, which means we can also recover the binder.

R&D, Technology and Innovation aspects
Our improved 3D printing pilot plant will go into operation in October 2024. We have 11 LOIs from customers who want to pilot on it.
We have our first paying customer: Voestalpine
We are currently selling our first patented product licences and expect to conclude our first licence agreement in the field of formwork construction this year.
We have applied for € 1.2 million in funding and will apply for a € 3-4 million EU grant.
We want to license our products to third parties through license fees. The licensor’s business model results in a streamlined value chain. Most of the costs are variable and depend on capacity utilization. This lowers our costs and increases flexibility. Although the license fees are low compared to direct sales, our target markets are very profitable. Our license system makes it possible to create new markets in a targeted manner and diffuse them quickly. This contributes to rapid brand building and, in turn, creates value. In addition, we are not tied to specific products but can use intellectual property in various ways. Also, we are not bound locally and can quickly scale globally. We want to produce and sell ourselves in the most important high-volume markets.
We carry out approximately—3000 material tests on test specimens per year. We can prove clear replicability with data.
We create value for our shareholders, customers and partners by offering them new business opportunities.
