Result description
The Demand Prediction and Management (DPM) solution utilises cutting-edge technologies in demand prediction, such as AI/ML-based models, with the overarching goal of delivering precise forecasts for specific CIs, in the Water, Energy, Transportation and Health sectors, and the differentiating factor that they can accommodate prediction during turbulent times like large pandemics. The solution uses AI and graph technologies to detect demand patterns, bottlenecks, and root causes, aiming to enhance the allocation of human and infrastructure resources for optimal response. It consists of AI/ML models designed to predict critical resources in various sectors. This includes health scenarios, such as hospitals, anticipating critical resources in water utility contexts, predicting resources needed in transportation scenarios, and forecasting critical resources in energy contexts. These four modules are designed to operate independently, each equipped with its own dashboard tailored to specific use cases. This flexibility allows for the customization of offerings to customers, providing variations that align precisely with their unique needs and requirements

We are seeking partnerships with Critical Infrastructure Operators such as water supply operators, energy providers (public or private), transportation operators, and healthcare facilities, focusing mostly on private hospitals. Moreover, we are looking for further public or private funding to upgrade the TRL of the tool and support further R&D activities. Additionally, collaboration opportunities for out-of-project pilot testing and feedback will be advantageous.

The Demand Prediction and Management tool (DPM) is at an advanced technical level and will reach TRL 7 at the end of the project. TRL 7 means that the tool will be demonstrated in operational environment. We are looking for public and private funding and different collaborations in order to assist in the commercialization phase of the tool and enhance potential market entry.
The Demand Prediction and Management tool (DPM) is designed to support long-term sustainability. The DPM tool supports critical infrastructures to manage efficiently the resource allocation in order to lead in energy saving, physical source maintenance, and reduced waste. Additionally, the DPM tool supports Critical infrastructures to further enhance their possible sustainable management policies and support climate goals.
