The EFENCE is a solution to actual regulation of the use of autonomous terrestrial vehicles in agriculture, offering the possibility to enhance survey in cropped areas during robot operation without the presence of a human surveyor – the EFENCE is designed to send alerts from humans and animal intrusions in the operative areas – EFENCE additionally sends time-lapse images of the cropped area for monitoring purposes

Current stage description

The system have been tested on soccer-field sized cropped area and let it working for a couple of months -the cloud system is fully developed and data latency good providing alerts to a commercial mobile. – the presence sensor is under refinement while the the possibility to add different sensors is under consideration. A patent is under evaluation.

The system is not difficult to be replicated – but the market is vast and a pristine as no similar products are present

Sustainability

the low price of the product is the basis for limiting product return costs (firm economic sustainability) while product design pays attention to materials and their recycling.
