Result description
Emy Trainer is a connected pelvic floor trainer developed and commercialized by Fizimed that enables every woman to take control of her health and well-being. This biofeedback medical device (CE marked, Class I) is connected to a mobile app and enables women to perform pelvic floor rehabilitation exercises at home in privacy and autonomously. Through sessions lasting 5-20 minutes, pelvic floor contractions generate pressure data that is measured by the device and allows the app to tailor the protocol to the patient for effective strengthening. Gamification in the app allows patients to stay engaged, track their progress in real time and share results with healthcare professionals. The pelvic floor trainer has been clinically validated and has demonstrated its effectiveness after just 3 weeks of use. Thanks to funding from EIT Health, Fizimed has been able to take the device to the next step, making it available in France and Germany.

The Emy Trainer is available as a CE-marked medical device on the French and German markets. It is reimbursed by insurance in Germany through automatized and digitalized prescription processing, thus making it accessible to millions of German women. Separately, the Emy Pump, a wireless breast pump, was also launched in 2024, expanding Fizimed’s impact and value for women’s post-partum health.
