Our expertise and our modern facilities for solution and melt spinning on a laboratory and pilot plant scale enable us to develop customized solutions for your specific requirements.

  • Our work with renewable biopolymers such as cellulose, lignin, proteins, and biodegradable plastics (e.g., PLA, PBS, …) to create eco-friendly fibers, films, and nonwovens specifically tailored to your application

Input Required from Customer:

Material Specification

  • Type of (bio)polymer (e.g. cellulose, lignin, PLA, starch, protein, polyester, polyamide, acrylic)
  • Form (powder, slurry, pulp, solution, etc.)
  • Purity and composition (e.g., lignin content, cellulose degree of polymerization)

Application Objective

  • Intended end-use (e.g., textile fiber, filtration, composite reinforcement)
  • Functional requirements (mechanical strength, biodegradability, thermal behavior)
  • Target spinning method (wet, air-gap, melt)

Processing Parameters or Constraints

  • Known temperature or chemical sensitivity of the material
  • Solubility behavior or previous processing attempts
  • Any regulatory or sustainability constraints (e.g. bio-based %, food contact)

Quantity & Scale Requirements

  • Scale of interest: lab trials, pilot-scale production, or prototyping
  • Batch size needed for testing (e.g., grams to kilograms)
