Glycanostics is looking for:

• investors to match the EIC investment;
• a global licensing partner that will manufacture, promote, distribute and sell its Giasay test worldwide;
• partners for business development.

• The research and development phase for Prostate cancer (PCa) Giasay has been finished.
• Clinical validation study was finished and being evaluated with results confirming the performance as expected.
• Regulatory dossier for CE certification PCa Giasay is under preparation.
• Now we consolidate supply chain for production start.
• Business-wise the next step is investment / outlicensing to a global partner.

The Glycanostics patented technology is highly scalable and applicable for diagnostics of additional 10 cancer types besides prostate cancer (breast, lung, colorectal, pancreas, ovarian, thyroid, liver, bladder, testicular, stomach). We are already performing pre-clinical trials on breast cancer diagnostics tests with excellent results with a 2.5 M EUR project funging approved. By partnering with a large / global company, rapid scalability will become possible worldwide.

The Glycanostics management and investors consider the replicability and product quality as priorities. The technology is well-documented and quality control mechanisms are in place. A regulatory officer has been appointed and certain results have been achieved:

• ISO 9001:2015 certificate with UKAS accreditation was awarded to the company on 10th May 2022 for Research and Development of In-vitro Diagnostics Medical Devices.
• ISO 13485:2016 certificate was awarded to the company on 16th January 2023 as an important pre-condition for CE products certification dossier which is currently under preparation.

Replicability to mass production, global distribution, regulatory requirements, etc. will be subject of cooperation with potential outlicensing partners.

The ultimate objective of the Giasay solution is improving the quality of life by early and highly accurate cancer diagnostics. Patients are the key beneficiaries, they will benefit from simpler, faster, safer, and mildly invasive assays. Without requiring specialized staff or equipment, Glycanostics’ Giasay can be performed even when imaging diagnostics are not available (i.e. Covid). The next indications in the development pipeline are Breast Cancer and Lung Cancer Giasay to diagnose such diseases at early stages leading to cost- and clinically-effective treatments. Giasay presents certain impact on heathcare system economy, being a more efficient alternative to state-of-the-art diagnostic methods.

The glycoprofiling diagnostics method invented by Glycanostics is currently protected by four patents providing protection until 2041.
