The thermal system covers technical office’s cooling demand in summer (14.0 kW) and heating demand in winter (13.2 kW), plus domestic hot water demand of the factory.
It includes four BHEs with bentonite grout, 80 m deep each: 2 double-U + 2 single-U.
Heat pump features
- refrigerant R410A;
- scroll compressor with asynchronous inverter driven el. motor;
- 3 heat exchangers in cooling/heating/DHW mode;
- 4-way valves for counter flow;
- electronic expansion valve;
- inverter pumps on user & ground loops, constant velocity on DHW side;
- monitoring system.
The Heating & Cooling System includes Galletti Fancoils with inverter driven brushless electric motor fan and microprocessor with Modbus for remote control of valves, fan speed, read temperature and humidity of incoming air.
Dynamic analysis of building thermal load provides the electricity use vs thermal power;
Controls
- Geothermal probes : proportional-integral control of condensing pressure varying water flow;
- Cooling capacity : proportional-integral control of water tank (90 L) temperature varying compressor speed;
- User circuit : fan coils air flow and water flow controlled for max evaporation T and min electric use.
