The integration of renewable generation systems within the Plug&play facade has been designed, prototyped and installated in two real demo buildings. Next step is to further implement the integration in the facade module in order to be more competitive within the market (reducing facade thickness and cost). In addition it will be researched the opportunity to produce it in a bigger scale building as market demonstrators.
The integration of renewable generation systems is easily replicable since the technical solution has already been designed and tested. The commercial product for energy generation system is anchored to the plug&play facade. The solution could be replicated in the building stock market in line with the project requirements
