The current result comprises an article and video outlining some thoughts and activities conducted in regard to designing medication reminder systems for persons with dementia at Halmstad University, Sweden in collaboration with our region’s hospital and organizations in nine different countries, as part of the EU Remind Project. Knowledge sharing has been conducted via secondments, seminars, and workshops; some research results include work with novel modalities (e.g., detecting activities such as medication intake and tracking via thermal cameras) in smart environments, as well as prototype social robot systems intended to convey reminders effectively.
