Result description

The CDP is a private and secure web platform for deep renovation support, implementing a participative approach, facilitating communication within the renovation project team and implementing methodologies and workflows developed within the 4RinEU project. In particular, it includes the 4RinEU methodology for deep renovation, presented below. Integrated Environmental Solutions Ltd (IES) have developed the platform software and retain sole ownership of the website.

The 4RinEU methodology is implemented in the 4RinEU CDP as a replicable project template (content). At project and task level it is also possible to track metrics to monitor the progress of the implementation of the deep renovation project according to the 4RinEU methodology, in particular with respects to improving energy consumption, CO2 emissions, and time on site. These metrics can be visualised in a custom dashboard for the project. This content is published and maintained by Eurac Research.

Current stage description

The CDP is available for testing, as it requires use in more renovation pilots to test its functionalities and further develop the platform towards a product that can serve the needs of the sector. It is expected that from such tests the user worflow could be improved. More methodologies and templates could be included to adapt to a specific organisation’s deep renovation process.

Value Proposition:

The CDP enables admin / editor users to define integrated design process workflows by creating replicable templates for key processes. In addition, admin / project managers can attach guidance material to each project and task. Guidance material is made accessible via a knowledgebase feature. All users can access attached project guidance. There also exists a central portal guidance section which documents overall guidance material. Guidance can take the form of 3rd party workflows such as BIM methodologies or Integrated Product Design, or methodologies developed within the 4RinEU project for deep renovation.
