Current stage description

Integrate the improved IO capabilities directly into FESOM2 and OpenIFS/FESOM2. Showcase these advancements in academic publications and at scientific conferences to attract more users and collaborators. Utilize the improved IO capabilities in ongoing projects like DestinE.

Inclusion of new IO capabilities to FESOM2 main branch ensures continuation of development. FESOM2 development is supported by AWI research programm. Continuous performance monitoring and updates to ensure the IO improvements remain effective with evolving hardware.
