KER 11: Nutrigels integrated with NPK

Result description

Nutrigels consist of a 100% lignin based water super-absorber, developed by SUSFERT partner Agrobiogel, and different mineral and organic fertiliser compounds, offering famers new products that help them overcome:

1. extreme weather conditions due to climate change -> heavy rains increase the nutrient leaching reduce availability of nutrients to plants while polluting the enviroment. The newly developed nutrigels trap nutrients and slowly release them to plants.

  1. 2.comply with legally forced reduction of mineral fertilisers (min. 20% reduction) until 2023 (farm to fork strategy)

This KER combines nutrigels with integrated NPK.

Ownership lies with Agrobiogel and Groupe Roulier/TIMAC.
