Result description
TECNALIA has developed and optimised the MIM process (feedstock preparation, injection moulding, debinding and sintering of cobalt free diamond composites. The combinational wax based made binders have been substituted by eco-friendly water based binder and the whole process has been optimised.
In addition, TECNALIA has proven the suitability of the cobalt substitute for the diamond composites. Unlike the cobalt based diamond composites, the new metallic binder allows pleasureless sintering process of the diamond composites.
