We are seeking laboratories and recyclers ready to test the chemical validation method under operational conditions. Support from food safety advisors and legal experts is welcomed to assist in dossier preparation for EFSA compliance. Collaboration with appliance manufacturers would help demonstrate use cases in real products.

The method is validated for regulatory compliance in extrusion (TRL 6-7), with lower readiness for thermoforming (TRL 4-5), and MRL 5-6. Funding from public safety and food authorities, as well as private recyclers, is needed to finalize the validation process and prepare EFSA dossiers.
The protocol can be applied to different recycling streams and product contexts involving food contact.
Compounders with appropriate capacity can apply the methodology in a standardized manner.
It supports circular economy goals through safe, compliant secondary raw materials.
